This is our female opera trio which performs the most famous opera trios, duets and solo arias. My dear colleagues are true opera divas with the most stunning soprano voices! Cecilia Hjortsberg is my friend and colleague at the Royal Danish Opera House and Cecilia Lindwall is her life long friend who has recently performed at Det Ny Teater. Our first concert was nothing else but the semi scenic performance of The Magic Flute with an orchestra, where we sung the Three Ladies parts. During the rehearsal process we enjoyed singing together and found out, our voices match in colour and sound and our very different personalities fit together in a way it will make any concert full of humour and emotion. Therefore we decided to maintain our cooperation and keep adding to our repertoire f.e. the Water Nymphs from Rusalka , Carmen, Frasquita and Mercedes trio, Hero, Beatrice and Ursule trio by Berlioz or Medoro, Angelica and Dorina trio by Handel.
This summer we have performed at the Herning Opera Festival, enjoying the open air stage for 600 sitting people and it almost did not rain at all, just a little bit. Nevertheless our audience was amazing and came prepared with umbrellas. After Herning we hade smaller but not less lovely concerts at the Slovak and Czech Embassy, Vangede Kirke and Marielyst at Helsingør which were partially supporten by the sommerpulje for concert activities in Denmark. Unfortunately The Magic Flute performance at the Free Mansions of was cancelled due to corona restrictions, hopefully it will be restored next year.
Recently we started cooperating with an amazing harpenist Angelika Wagner from the Det Kongelige Kapel, which allows us to make unique concerts at places that do not have a piano. We have also broadened our repertoire with Bachs Magnificat trio and a capella trio from F. M. Bartholdy’s oratorio Elijah to fit our program for churches.

Cecilia Lindwall is an experienced soprano who debuted at the Norwegian Opera House singing Musetta in La Boheme. The same year she won international singing opera competition Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg in Berlin which resulted in her cooperation with famous conductor Christian Thielemann at Deutche Oper Berlin. Later she was a soloist at the Staatstheater Braunschweig where she performed the biggest lyrical soprano roles. Recently she has settled in Copenhagen and performed as a guest soloist at Malmo Opera, various festivals in Norway, at the Royal Danish Opera House, Det Ny Teater and Hofteatret with the Operetta Company.
Cecilia Hjortsberg debuted singing the lead role Isis in Neumanns Osiris. She has performed with Skånska opera for example in the role of Donna Anna from Don Giovanni. At the Royal Danish Opera House she sung Georgetta from Il Tabarro, The Witch from Hans und Gretel, 2nd water nymph from Rusalka and she has performed Desdemona from Otello at Takkeloftet. Lead by A. Eschwé she performed at Vienna’ s Skt. Margarethe Michaela from Carmen. She later toured singing the same role with Guido Opera. She took part of Violetta from La Traviata with the Copenhagen Opera Company. You can also hear her sing at concerts abroad where she tours for example with The Nordic Singers.
