Duo Nadia & Lucie

We have been cooperating with Nadia Okrusko (piano) since we met during our Master studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Our repertoire started being based in compositions of Slavic composers, which are less commonly performed in Denmark, for example classical hit Gypsy Melodies by A. Dvořák, “In the Mists’ by Janáček or less known authors as Slovak 20th. century composer T. Andrašovan and his neo-folkloristic song cycle “Svitlo Slnko”. Lately we started adding Scandinavian composers to our repertoire as G. Nystroem, P.A Heise or a Danish female composer H. Collet. In 2021 we were semifinalists in the international competition Copenhagen Lied Duo, where we as the only duo represented also music of slavic composers. For our concerts we provide translation of the lyrics or we make an introduction to the song cycle.
